Imagine a photograph as the beginning of a story. A photograph reproduces one singular, irreplaceable instant in time.

I have captured instants from my travels and transported them onto delicate fabrics. Emotions to be shared and to wrap yourself up in.

Each subject, produced in a limited edition series, tells the story of an element.

The first story is about water. Water in it’s myriad tonalities and textures.

To portray the ‘impalpable’ nature of water I chose a lightweight silk/cotton fabric which ebbs and flows like water.
